Investimento de R$ 21 bi até 2010 no Goiás

Goiás deve receber investimento no montante de R$ 21,64 bilhões nos setores industrial e de serviços até 2010. Essa é a conclusão da Pesquisa de Intenção de Investimentos realizada pela Superintendência de Estatística, Pesquisa e Informações (Sepin) da Secretaria de Planejamento (Seplan). Os setores que mais deverão receber recursos são o sucroalcooleiro, com previsão de injeção de R$ 9,12 bilhões, e a mineração, com R$ 4,31 bilhões. A superintendente da Sepin, Lillian Maria Silva Prado, afirma que os 1.109 projetos de intenção de investimentos em Goiás somam juntos R$ 21,64 bilhões. ?Devem ser gerados 128 mil novos postos de trabalho nos setores industrial e de serviços até 2010, que é até onde acena a pesquisa?, afirma a superintendente. O setor sucroalcooleiro é o campeão das intensões, R$ 9,12 bilhões do total dos investimentos, com 74 projetos. Na seqüência, os 42 projetos para a mineração e beneficiamento investirão R$ 4,31 bilhões (19,93% do total). Alimentos e bebidas têm 197 projetos e o setor investirá R$ 2,28 bilhões (10,54%). Juntas as três atividades totalizam 72,61% das intenções de investimentos e 28,22% dos projetos anunciados por empresários. A superintendente aponta que quando a pesquisa (que é feita semestralmente e aponta as perspectivas de investimento para os três anos seguintes a ela) começou a ser realizada, em julho de 2004, o valor de investimentos para 2007 era de R$ 7 bilhões. Para 2010 está previsto o triplo desse valor. Na pesquisa realizada em maio de 2006, foram computados R$ 12,8 bilhões de investimentos. Novamente um crescimento significativo neste ano, que registrou R$ 21,64 bilhões. ?Isso se deve ao boom do álcool, que está atraindo investimentos devido aos benefícios fiscais concedidos pelo Estado e pela produtividade da cana-de-açúcar.
