RELAÇÕES ENTRE BRASIL E VENEZUELA – Cooperação entre vizinhos

Empresários da área de mineração fecham diversos acordos durante exposição do setor Dando um passo à frente em relação ao discurso de integração da América Latina, defendida pela maior parte dos presidentes da região, os empresários do setor privado têm se adiantado e fechado bons negócios em parceria com seus vizinhos. A empresa de engenharia venezuelana Integra, presente no Brasil para o 12º Congresso Brasileiro de Mineração, veio em busca de parceria com empresas brasileiras para a construção de uma joint venture no setor de mineração. De acordo com o presidente da companhia, Rogelio Salges, a proposta foi muito bem recebida por uma empresa mineira de consultoria e negócios e deverá ser formalizada em breve. Sócio “natural” “O Brasil deveria ser um sócio “natural” da Venezuela, ainda que seja com uma empresa do governo, sem poder operar a mina, poderiam fazer parcerias em outros segmentos, como vendas, equipamentos…”, declara o presidente da empresa, Rogelio Salges. O Brasil, segundo maior exportador de minério de ferro do mundo, tem grande experiência na área; enquanto, segundo Salges, os empresários da indústria da mineração venezuelana “ainda estão muito ligados ao que diz o governo”. A Venezuela se prepara para começar a operar sua primeira mina de minério de ferro concentrado e para tanto busca parceria com um país que possui experiência nessa área. “Já tínhamos outras (minas) antes, mas eram sempre de minério bruto. Essa será nossa primeira planta concentrada”, comentou o diretor-gerente da empresa, Pedro Godoy. “A Integra tem como objetivo “integrar” as capacidades, tecnologias, conhecimento e experiências latino-americanas e destaca o setor de mineração brasileiro como o país de maior grau de desenvolvimento entre eles”, completa. Bons negócios A empresa venezuelana, que presta consultoria gerencial e técnica para o desenvolvimento de projetos industriais, em especial para a indústria de mineração, conseguiu ainda fechar acordos de cooperação com outras seis empresas brasileiras do setor. Godoy evitou citar os nomes das companhias, já que os acordos ainda estão sendo concluídos, mas adiantou que englobam desde a área de fabricantes de equipamentos industriais para processamento e transformação de minerais, até empresas de consultoria especializadas em geologia. Embora a falta de suprimentos técnicos e industriais para o setor de mineração tenha sido a grande reclamação feita pela maior parte dos palestrantes do 12º Congresso Brasileiro de Mineração, os executivos da Integra se disseram satisfeitos com os negócios. “Em questões de peças e equipamentos conseguimos tudo o que precisávamos. Estamos satisfeitos com as negociações realizadas”, comemoram. Por parte das empresas expositoras o clima também é de celebração diante das vendas que superaram as expectativas. Segundo boletim informativo do evento, a Volvo Construction Equipment já havia fechado, no terceiro dia de exposição, contratos de venda que superam a cifra de R$ 5 milhões, com previsão de concluir outros contratos que totalizariam R$ 3 milhões. A IMIC, empresa mineira com sede em Contagem, já havia vendido R$ 2,4 milhões, enquanto a Goodyear previa aumento de 20% em suas vendas, em relação ao ano passado.
